WILLIE LEWIS WATTS "BIG DADDY"

age 60, of Highland, IN formerly of Niles, MI passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. Willie is survived by his loving wife Melissa Watts; children: Shaquan Watts, Kaleb Watts and Daniel (Lauren) Cox; grandchildren: Ari Watts, Braydon Cox, Bradley Cox and Jalen Watts; siblings: Robert, Mark, Shirley, Martha, Rose Judy, Julie and Cynthia; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; mother of his son Kaleb Michelle and mother of his son Shaquan Phyllis. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Julia, son Dartaneon and six siblings.

Willie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from '74-'83. He was employed by Kirby Company as a Kirby Factory Distributor for 30 years. Willie found joy in song and just loved to share his voice with the world. He enjoyed meeting new friends and talking to people. Willie was an avid fisherman and loved to go fishing with his sons. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows "Two and Half Men" and "Perry Mason". Most of all Willie cherished the time spent with his loving family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 2:00-6:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home & Crematory 14 Kennedy Ave Schererville, IN. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 5:00 PM with Pastor Fred Huntzinger officiating.
