Yvonne C. Wisler

Age 81, of Highland, IN, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017. Yvonne is survived by her brother, Donald W. (Pam) Wisler Sr. of Highland; sister, Sharon (late Jack) Yelinich of Highland; nieces and nephews, Debra (Rick) Yannuzzi, Donald Jr., Pam Posey, Cindy Wisler, Robert (Kimberly) Wisler, Scott (Colette) Wisler; her brother John's children:  Ann, John, Tony, Terry, Laura and late Roseann; special friends, Anne Lacko, Mary Plesha, Tommy Kennedy, Pam Lacko-Kelley, Diane Lacko-Pries.  She is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Wisler and John (late Marlene) Wisler.

A  visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home , 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN 46375 (corner of Main St. and Kennedy Ave.) from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 3:30 prayer service.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 3025 Highway, Highland, IN 46322 with Rev. Edward Moszur Officiating.  Yvonne will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service and be laid to rest directly after at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN.

Yvonne worked for Youngstown later LTV Steel for over 25 years. She had a deep love for animals, Notre Dame, and the Blackhawks.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the William J. Riley Hospice Home at hospicecalumet.org or Humane Society Calumet Area hscalumet.org would be appreciated.
